Alpha Care Castlemaine Ltd owns Castlemaine Care Home, a family business committed to highest possible quality of personal care and service. Providing an environment that feels as close to home as possible within a warm and pleasant atmosphere.

Castlemaine Care Home is a spacious detached house situated in a quite cul-de sac near “The Green” providing the highest standards of Dementia Care and service to residents suffering from mild to moderate dementia as a result of Alzheimer’s Disease or other mental conditions for elderly.

Our philosophy is to provide person centred care, tailored to suite and respect the needs of the individuals, so that quality of care received with dignity and choice. Through our philosophy of Care, Comfort and Consideration, Castlemaine aims to be the first choice for dementia care in the local community with the provision of quality services.

Our personal services are provided within warm, clean, attractive and homely environment. The catering, housekeeping and laundry teams ensure a high standard of service in all single occupancy room, many with en suite facilities.

There are a variety of activities organised by our staff for the residents’ recreation and social activities.
